‘Ultra-High Tensile low alloy steel’ offers exceptionally high yield strength, very fine molecular structure of steel and controlled internal purity. It Combines Outstanding Mechanical Properties like extremely high strength, fatigue resistance and toughness with good formability & weldability. In some applications abrasion / wear can result from the action of abrasive substances on the steel surface and also because of the action of the load, Impact, etc. This type of steel is capable of resisting/ wear & tear. Due to low Carbon equivalent this type of steel doesn’t pre or post heating for welding. Moreover, it is insensitive to cold cracking and suitable for all type of arc welding.
Magnelis / ZAM / Zinc Alume or 600 gm/ sq. meter Hot Dip galvanizations are available as options for corroision resistance surface treatment although we use ‘Magnelis’ as primary option because Magnelis offers far more superior protection than any other in industrial area with chloride, ammonia or high alkaline (pH between 10 and 13) environments. Due to it’s chemical composition, it provides better ‘barrier protection’. It also protects exposed steels or cuts on coatings with a thin zinc based protective film with Magnesium because of it’s adherent metallic layers.
